Fire Turnout Gear Do I Have To Buy My Own Gear To Be In Volunteer Fire Dept?

Do I have to buy My own Gear to be in volunteer fire dept? - fire turnout gear

I am 18 and would like to join with the fire department. But before I start I take in a local volunteer fire department. Hand to learn that I buy on to my computer
Participation Gear
SCBA gear
and trunk
I want to know so I can start saving for the Arts
